Paul Shute began his career with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) in 2008 as an adjudicator within the St. Paul Regional Office. In 2013, he joined the Office of Compensation Service to assist with the agency’s transformation from paper-based claims processing to an electronic claims processing system. Today, Paul is the director of operational innovation within the VBA’s Office of Compensation Service and is responsible for the acceleration of business process improvement through partnership, collaboration, and innovation.
