Donna Ledbetter is the Editor and Technical Writer for the National Institute of Corrections (NIC) at the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). She is also the program manager for her agency’s Section 508 and plain language programs. She has previously delivered federal presentations on writing annual reports and plain language for Section 508. Her professional interests currently include narrative nonfiction, UX writing, and the ever-evolving world of digital publishing.
